Registration is limited to 10 participants.
This workshop is for beginners and for intermediate students who have previous experience with embroidery, whether through our Beginners Embroidery Workshop or in their personal life. Intermediate participants will be taught more complicated stitches, patterns, and techniques.
Beginner participants will be introduced to the basic tools and materials used in embroidery. Our instructor will guide you through each step of the process with clear demonstrations and hands-on practice, where you learn the essentials.
You will learn a variety of stitches, including:
- Running stitch
- Back stitch
- Satin stitch
- Chain stitch
- French knots
These stitches will set you up for success in creating intricate patterns, textures, and designs.
The workshop will cover various aspects of embroidery, including:
- Transferring designs onto fabric
- Hooping and stabilizing fabric
- Choosing the right needles and threads
Participants will have the opportunity to work on a small embroidery project of their choice. All necessary supplies will be provided, including embroidery hoops, needles, threads, and fabric.
